Melissa Horne has been selling general real estate in Brevard County since 2019. Melissa has spent a lifetime in service. Originally from New York, Melissa spent many years in hospitality, and a decade specifically managing and promoting NYC's world famous Comedy Cellar. Upon the birth of her first child, she made the decision to go back to school and graduated Valedictorian of CUNY Staten Island in 2011. This would be the beginning of her entrepreneurial journey.

Melissa began as a Realtor & Marketing Director of a Top Producing team in New York in 2015, before she made the move to Florida where she continued her real estate career. She is a Digital Marketing Specialist and has excelled in sales and marketing across multiple industries.

Among all the joys of what she does, she gets the most enjoyment by meeting new people and helping families move to the next chapter of their lives. It’s no secret that making a move encompasses so many stressors – from new jobs, new babies, children growing up and moving away, separation, caring for an older family member, the list goes on – and dealing with each person during what can often be an emotional process takes great care and empathy. Operating with a sense of urgency and a keen eye for detail, Melissa studies the market daily and connects regularly with national masterminds and top-producing agents to ensure she has the most effective tools and information for each of her clients. Melissa is always looking for ways to serve and give back to this great community. She is a huge advocate for children, family services and education and believes in the importance of guiding young people in developing a strong sense of self-esteem. “One simple act can change a whole life,” she says. Melissa volunteers and sponsors regularly with children and families in need and participates with Brevard Family Partnership Foundation for Christmas drives. She is also a scholarship donor at her alma mater , as the founder of the Nicholas Guy Horne Scholarship that supports two semesters’ tuition for a single parent returning to school each academic year.
